Will perform a variety of tasks to help support the driver in providing safe and proper transportation for all students to and from school. Perform an accurate headcount of children before & after each pick-up & drop-off location. Assist the Driver with Cleaning & Sanitizing the interior of the Transportation Van Daily, Drive the Van on alternate days of the week as a Substitute Driver/Aide & during an emergency.
Driver Qualifications. To qualify, a driver must:
- 1. Pass a criminal background check
- 2. Have a valid driver’s license
- 3. Have an updated CPR/First Aid certification.
- 4. Must be at least 20 years old;
- 5. Have a satisfactory driving record regarding motor vehicle law violations and accidents, including no reckless driving or driving while intoxicated (DWI or DUI) incidents on the record;
- 6. Have attended the driver orientation.
